This is a Superb Locomotive!!!
It has been taken from the R1122 Eastern Valleys Express Set so comes UNBOXED.
This Locomotive is Beautifully Detailed.
The 6 Wheel Tender has a device fitted that makes the sound of a Real Steam Engine as it runs along the Track. This adds to the Realism of this Superb Loco.
(This sound device can be removed if you prefer).
In The ‘Golden Age of Steam’ the romance of the railways was at its peak. The rural areas in the East of England benefited in the halcyon days of rail travel by being connected to the big cities by a network of small railways. The LNER could not use its heavy 'crack' Express trains on the rural lines, opting instead for Locomotives such as the B12 Class engines. These trains would offer a frequent stopping service as they travelled from village to village and town to town!
