This car, owned by Gulf Oil executive Grady Davis, was the one that got Gulf started as a sponsor of GT40s. It finished 7th at Daytona in 1967, the highest-finishing Ford GT in that race, after all the factory-entered MkIIs retired or suffered major delays.
The Ford GT40 MKII, chassis 1032, is faithfully reproduced in Scalextric's high-detail classic range.
