This  Model of the British Spitfire is based on the 234 Squadron of the RAF from August 1940. it is 155mm long and 127mm wide.

The Spitfire gained aviation military immortality during the famous Battle of Britain in 1940. The major role played by the Spitfire was to intercept and destroy the Luftwaffe's fighters while the Hurricanes of the RAF attacked the incoming bombers.
